It’s Seasonal.

I’m procrastinating a paper, so decided that instead of typing something up (which feels wrong, seeing as if I’m typing I should be doing it about Boulez and Debussy), I’d put up a series of photos. Theme: seasons. Everyone has to do a ‘seasons’ themed portfolio, right?

Image
Summer: Local fairs, funnel cakes, candied apples, horse shows at the end of the day… Yes, that’s me driving, before I cut off all my hair. (The rest are photos I took.)
Image
Summer: Going outside and having a camera malfunction that ends up kind of working out.
Image
Raindrops and storms that pass quickly.
Image
Baking heat and corn fields nearly ready to harvest.
Image
And long summer evenings.
Days spent longing for shade.
Days spent wishing for shade.
Image
Autumn: First you know it by the migrating geese.
Image
Autumn: Candy floss skies.
Image
The cycles of the trees.
Image
5th of November Fireworks.
Image
Harvest moons.
Image
Winter: Going without power.
Image
Winter: The River Clyde.
Image
Blizzards.
Image
Getting snowed in.
Image
There was a fence there…
Image
Seasonal decorations.
Image
Springtime blossoms. (Of course.)
Image
Spring: double rainbows.
Image
Cats enjoying the sun. (Kate’s not deaf.)
Image
Lengthening days.
Image
Sudden flashbacks to wintertime.
Image
Warming days bring out the buskers.
Image
And soon, there is summer, again.

Procrastination complete. But wait: Bonus.
